“Starfield”: Exploring Infinity and Beyond
Successful lift-off for Starfield, Bethesda’s new role-playing game. The creators of Skyrim are venturing into space opera with much zeal. A solo campaign, plentiful side quests, crafting, and a thousand planets to visit – that’s the colossal offering for sci-fi fans. As with any RPG, you have to create your character before embarking on an adventure, accomplishing missions to earn experience and money, which you’ll spend on skills and upgrades. Your spaceship is a vital element that you can customize as you please and must carefully arm to survive the many space battles that await you behind each asteroid belt.
A mix of a shooter and spaceship combat game, emphasizing exploration and experimentation, Starfield has already impressed numerous testers from the specialist press. As for the players, they started getting their hands on the game from September 6, setting off full of hope to probe the depths of infinite space.

“Baldur’s Gate III” : The Ultimate Role-Playing Game
Already out for a month on PC and lauded by critics, Baldur’s Gate III opens its doors on PS5. The role-playing game with its turn-based tactical battles drawn directly from the rules of Dungeons and Dragons takes players into the familiar medieval fantasy universe of the franchise. A century has passed since Baldur’s Gate II, you’re still in the Forgotten Realms, but your avatar has been forcibly infected with a parasite by Mind Flayers. Will you fight this parasite or, on the contrary, use this evil power to counter your enemies? In this new installment, the emphasis is on freedom and you can become a legendary hero or the worst scoundrel in the city’s underworld.
A major innovation for Larian Studios: no isometric view in this episode but 3D with the ability to change the camera viewpoint. For purists, the rules are adapted from D&D version 5 and you can choose from most of the available races and archetypes. For those who are not fans of the tabletop role-playing game, Baldur’s Gate III can present an additional challenge as the combat rules are complex and varied, with the environment playing a crucial strategic role.
The PS5 version is a real success, just like Divinity: Original Sin II, the previous creation from Larian Studios.
